The only way she had to sneak into their territory was through Divina, the island was close enough to be able to see the frozen coastline. The weeks she spent crossing to Umbria, later on, were a bloodless massacre, but it didn't matter to her, they were all already dead. A tawny bard saw her work with the double-edge sword near the first post, and followed her from distance for two more posts before disappearing. The next time she caught a glimpse of him he had sung three songs about the "Tales of Scrambled Brains". Unwanted and unexpected reputation was building up, and now, more than ever, they would be looking for her...
